*Remote Position but Candidate must live in the State of Maine*
Salary $150,000-165,000
The primary mission outcome is to provide positive community engagement support that impacts operational readiness across climatology systems, data ingest pipelines, processing services, and operational web applications that are currently impacting mission execution.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate long-term partnerships with community leaders, government and commercial agencies, and other key stakeholders
Plan, direct, and oversee public workshops, open houses, and other events
Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders and stakeholders to enhance outreach efforts
Conduct surveys and analyze feedback to measure program effectiveness to align organizational objectives with public needs
Degree/Education and Training Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
Clearance Requirements
Ability to obtain or currently possess a security clearance
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience
Skills/Core Competencies
Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Background in community outreach, public relations, or a similar field
