Job Description
EOA Technologies is seeking a Senior Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Technician on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position located in Germany. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of Electronic Security Systems (ESS), including intrusion detection systems, access control systems, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and associated communications and network infrastructure. The Senior Technician will serve as a technical lead for maintenance and service activities, provide guidance and oversight to junior technicians, support system commissioning and integration efforts, and ensure all work is performed in accordance with contract requirements, manufacturer specifications, and applicable security standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
Possess an active Secret clearance.
Five (5) years of experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Electronic Security Systems, low-voltage systems, or comparable electronic security technologies.
Demonstrated experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, network-connected security devices, and associated communications infrastructure.
Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
Experience performing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, system testing, diagnostics, and equipment replacement.
Proficiency with test equipment, software-based system administration tools, and maintenance management documentation.
Ability to supervise, mentor, and provide technical direction to junior technicians and installation teams.
Ability to obtain and maintain required security credentials and site access.
Germany SOFA Requirements: Personnel assigned to Germany must meet applicable Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) requirements for U.S. contractor employees supporting U.S. Government operations overseas, including eligibility for logistical support and installation access as determined by the Government.
