WHO YOU ARE
We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer
to join our team.
Day to day activities include but not limited to:
• Participating in daily scrums, bi-weekly sprint planning, release planning, and demonstrations
• Developing software for interfacing with HW components
• Integrating open and modular hardware and software compliance in the field of RF systems
THE WORK:
As an Associate Software Engineer you will:
• Work in a cross-functional Agile Scrum environment to design and develop technically complex software systems.
• Define sub-system architecture and requirements, perform detailed software design, generate design documentation, software implementation via test driven development and support feature acceptance testing.
• Support current software architecture which includes C++, Linux scripting and Qt GUI development utilizing git for CM control.
• Drive cross-team collaboration and promote software development best practices.
• Work closely with the Product Owner, Software Architect, and Chief Engineer to support Customer design reviews and various other milestone events.

Basic Qualifications:
• Degree in computer science, mathematics, applied statistics, various engineering disciplines, or related STEM discipline
• 1 year of professional experience with a related Bachelors degree; or no experience required with a related Masters degree
• Security Clearance required Prior to Start: Top Secret
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming
• Experience with software practices and configuration management (e.g. GIT, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Desired Skills:
• Ability to work in a rapid paced, Agile development environment
Experience with C++ Software development
• Experience with Linux operating system
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience in Full stack development
• Experience with Software Defined Radios
• Experience in Hardware test and integration
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
