THE WORK
This position is for a Systems Engineer Senior on the F-35 Physical Maintenance Training Devices (PMTD) Integrated Product Team (IPT) within the Training, Logistics and Simulation (TLS) Integrated Engineering line of business.
As a Systems Engineer Senior on our team, you will work with a team of multi-discipline engineers to analyze, design, document, test, and sustain a suite of 5 different training products within the PMTD portfolio. The selected candidate will help lead the definition, development, integration, verification, and validation of complex systems. The selected candidate must possess good communication and technical skills to interact with interact with internal and external stakeholders, write technical documents, and facilitate sub-system level testing within our Orlando labs. Occasionally, you may also be asked to travel to one of our customer sites for system-level integration, testing, and troubleshooting with our products.
Please Note: This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or STEM related degree
• 5 or more years of technical experience within Systems Engineering
• Proficient in DOORS/ DOORS Next or another requirements management tool.
• Proficient in Systems Engineering principles
• Experience working effectively in a team environment, but work independently on assigned work
• Experience in development and test of requirements
Desired Skills:
• Experience with product development through SRR, PDR, CDR, I&T, V&V
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience in Agile system development methodologies
• Experience with one or more of the following engineering tool suites: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools (DOORS Next, EWM, ETM)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
