Job Description

Deployment Strategist & Account Growth Director

  • About Bridge Defense. Bridge Defense is redefining how modern defense technology is delivered. Based in Washington, D.C., we are built for the dynamic mission environment facing the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, and federal law enforcement agencies. We provide full-spectrum national security solutions that combine secure infrastructure, cleared talent, and mission-ready software to meet evolving defense challenges. Our services include secure software development in classified environments and the design and implementation of advanced IT and cybersecurity capabilities ranging from secure cloud architectures and enterprise infrastructure to data center operations, scientific analysis, cutting-edge cyber defense, and intelligence analysis.

We are led by technologists and veterans with firsthand mission experience, which enables us to understand both the operational realities and the innovation needed to succeed. Our approach is agile and outcome-based, delivering results in weeks rather than months whenever possible.

At Bridge Defense we value people, integrity, and excellence. We foster an environment where innovation thrives in support of traditional mission requirements. Our team members receive competitive compensation, robust benefits, professional development and certification opportunities, and clear paths for growth while working on the nation’s most critical projects.

Core Values:
  • Innovation & Responsiveness: We push beyond legacy models with efficient, tech-led solutions built to scale and evolve.
  • Trusted Performance: Security, compliance, and deep experience in delivering to demanding environments guides all we do.
  • Mission Focused Expertise: From veteran leadership to cleared engineers, our people understand both the technology and the mission.

Summary: Bridge Defense is seeking a Full-Time Deployment Strategist & Account Growth Director to lead strategic customer engagement, technical deployment planning, and account expansion for our CodeBridge and ComputeBridge product lines supporting U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and adjacent national security customers.

This hybrid role sits at the intersection of deployment strategy, customer success, technical enablement, and mission-driven business development. The successful candidate will serve as the primary owner of Bridge Defense's customer relationships within SOCOM, ensuring successful adoption, utilization, retention, and expansion of our mission-critical software development environments and secure computing solutions.

This is a builder role. You will work directly with operational users, program leadership, engineering teams, and executive leadership to understand mission requirements, identify technology gaps, develop strategic account plans, and create repeatable deployment processes that support long-term customer success.

In partnership with Bridge Defense leadership, you will establish customer health frameworks, deployment methodologies, operational playbooks, and growth strategies that will serve as the foundation for future expansion across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

The Successful Candidate will Possess:

·       Exceptional customer relationship management skills.

·       Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.

·       Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

·       Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·       Ability to prioritize multiple competing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

·       Experience influencing executive-level stakeholders.

·       High degree of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

·       Ability to operate independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

·       Self-starter with exceptional initiative and ownership mentality.

·       Adaptability in rapidly changing operational environments.

·       Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex software and infrastructure solutions.

·       Technically curious with a continuous learning mindset.

·       Ability to develop peer networks across government and industry.

·       Passion for supporting national security missions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  •  Account Management & Customer Health
  • Own the end-to-end health of assigned accounts, serving as the single point of accountability for customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Build and maintain a Customer Health Score framework monitoring adoption, user engagement, and mission impact across all deployments
  • Conduct regular Executive Business Reviews and Operational Reviews with SOCOM leadership and program officers
  • Maintain a multi-threaded stakeholder map across SOCOM — from program managers and contracting officers to end-users and technical leads
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to contracts
  •  Deployment Strategy & Technical Enablement
  • Lead deployment planning and execution for new users, units, and programs onboarding to CodeBridge and ComputeBridge
  • Develop deployment playbooks tailored to SOCOM's operational environment, including classification levels (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS) and mission tempo
  • Design targeted enablement programs and training sessions to accelerate time-to-value
  • Feed structured customer intelligence — feature requests, workflow frictions, mission gaps — back into the Bridge Defense product roadmap
  • Business Development & Pipeline Generation
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue expansion opportunities within SOCOM sub-commands (USASOC, JSOC, NAVSPECWARCOM, AFSOC, MARSOC) and adjacent customers
  • Maintain a structured pipeline in CRM with documented opportunity stages, probability assessments, and next actions
  • Map adjacent DoD and IC customers where CodeBridge or ComputeBridge capabilities align to mission requirements
  • Represent Bridge Defense at relevant industry events (SOF Week, AUSA) and government forums
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on proposals, capability briefings, and white papers

Requirements:

Required:
  • 5+ years in a deployment strategy, technical account management, federal sales, or customer success role supporting DoW or national security customers
  • Direct experience working with or within SOCOM, Special Operations Forces, or supporting commands
  • Strong understanding of the DoW acquisition and contracting lifecycle including task orders, OTAs, and IDIQs
  • Ability to communicate complex technical capabilities to both practitioners and senior government officials
  • Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%

Preferred:
  • Prior Special Operations Forces experience.
  • Experience with defense technology companies in a deployment or account role
  • Familiarity with software development environments and DevSecOps toolchains
  • Existing relationships with SOCOM PMOs, PEO SOFSA, or USSOCOM J6/J9

Clearance: Active Secret security clearance is required at the time of hire. Active TS/SCI is strongly preferred.

Location: Hybrid

Salary Range: $160,000–$180,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, education, security clearance and certifications.

Benefits: Bridge Defense offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, life insurance and disability coverage.

General Factors:
  • Depending on project requirements, may be required to work within a compressed schedule; overtime should be expected when schedules demand it.
  • Travel approximately 40% of time, as required.
  • Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.

Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable background investigations, verification of employment eligibility, customer approval, and the ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
