The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly qualified System Engineer – Product Quality to provide technical support to a government customer within the National System for Geospatial‑Intelligence (NSG). In this role, you will directly support mission requirements through test planning, product evaluation, and the verification and validation of GEOINT data and products across multiple sensor phenomenologies.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Developing government‑approved test plans, test procedures, and data requirements to support product quality assessments
• Leading and coordinating technical tasking for a multidisciplinary team (image scientists, imagery analysts, photogrammetrists, statisticians)
• Performing independent verification and validation (IV&V) of GEOINT products to ensure compliance with requirements, standards, and operational concepts
• Assessing visual product quality and support‑data accuracy across EO, SAR, LiDAR, OPIR, motion, and multi‑/hyperspectral sources
• Tracking technical issues, documenting findings, and delivering clear, decision‑focused briefings to government stakeholders
• Supporting requirements analysis, CONOPS development, and system performance assessments
• Operating effectively within integrated government–contractor teams in a fast‑paced mission environment
Required Qualifications
• Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to upgrade to SCI and CI Poly
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5–10 years of systems engineering experience on government or defense programs
• Demonstrated experience in test design, requirements verification, data validation, and mission‑aligned CONOPS support
• Working knowledge of remote sensing imaging systems and GEOINT product generation/exploitation workflows
• Strong communication skills, including proficiency in producing test documentation and giving technical briefings
• Ability to work independently while contributing to integrated project teams
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with EO/IR/SAR remote sensing phenomenologies
• Familiarity with NSG tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) workflows
• Experience conducting visual and metadata‑based product quality assessments for GEOINT programs
Why Join Us
This position offers the opportunity to directly support national‑level intelligence missions, shape next‑generation GEOINT capabilities, and contribute to high‑visibility government programs.
