As a Senior Software Test Engineer supporting the Sensor Fusion team, you'll help validate the software that enables advanced aerospace systems to process, fuse, and deliver critical mission data. Your work will play a key role in ensuring high-quality software is delivered with accuracy, reliability, and confidence.
Working alongside software, systems, and integration engineers, you'll analyze requirements, develop comprehensive test strategies, execute software validation activities, and identify opportunities to improve product quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy problem solving, collaborating across disciplines, and ensuring complex software performs as designed.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
* Minimum of 2 years of testing experience
* Experience coding in C++
* Experience analyzing requirements
Desired Skills:
* Experience coding in C# or Python
* Experience working in Agile teams
* Experience with Linux operating systems
* Experience with Jira and GitLab
* F-35 Program access
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

What You Will Be Doing:
- Analyze software and system requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and validation plans for Sensor Fusion software.
- Execute software verification and validation activities to ensure mission-critical capabilities meet quality and performance requirements.
- Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases using C++ while supporting continuous software integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Integration & Test teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
- Support Agile software development by participating in test planning, defect tracking, and continuous process improvement activities.
- Utilize engineering tools including Linux, GitLab, Jira, and automated testing frameworks to improve software quality and testing efficiency.
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle by ensuring robust testing, documentation, and delivery of reliable Sensor Fusion capabilities.
