Dimension Control Technician 1

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Dimension Control Technician 1's for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 0-5 years of experience
• Must have the ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 35 pounds.
• Ability to work inside and outside in a warehouse/shop floor environment.
• Ability to handle and assemble small parts and machinery.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
• Ability to work 10% overtime.
• Ability to work any shift.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Dimension Control Technician Level 1 will receive direct supervision from training personnel or their immediate supervisor.
• The duties and tasks are basic and repetitive.
• The individual has little to no understanding of the job.
• The job is performed in a training environment, where errors are corrected as part of the learning process.
• The worker's interactions are primarily with immediate supervisors, training staff, and other new employees.
• Any questions or problems are referred to higher-level personnel.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High School Diploma/GED is required.

School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS

4/10 workweek. Must be able to work any shift.
