Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Asset Manager to support large-scale IT operations in a secure government environment. This role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT hardware assets, overseeing warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring equipment is properly received, tracked, staged, and deployed.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing IT equipment inventories within a controlled environment and possess a strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, asset accountability, and data management.

Responsibilities
Manage the lifecycle of IT hardware assets from receipt through deployment and disposal.
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, staging, and shipping activities.
Track and maintain accurate inventory records utilizing asset management databases and tracking tools.
Conduct physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing equipment to support enterprise technology projects and deployments.
Maintain detailed records related to asset accountability and equipment movement.
Prepare inventory metrics, status reports, and analytical reports for leadership.
Monitor asset status, shortages, risks, and equipment availability.
Assist with procurement planning and hardware sourcing activities.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, handling, and transportation of IT equipment.
Support process improvement initiatives related to hardware asset management and warehouse operations.
Collaborate with project teams, technical staff, and leadership to ensure successful equipment delivery and implementation efforts.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Security Clearance.
4+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
IT Asset Management
Logistics
Warehouse Operations
Property Management
Supply Chain Management
Inventory Control
Experience receiving, tracking, storing, issuing, and shipping equipment.
Experience managing asset databases and inventory records.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory management tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
Forklift experience or ability to obtain forklift certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Department of Defense or other government programs.
Familiarity with hardware asset lifecycle management best practices.
Experience supporting large-scale IT implementations, refreshes, or migration projects.
Knowledge of inventory documentation, shipping records, and property accountability processes.
Experience with service management or asset management platforms.
