If you join Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in this position, you will assist our Manufacturing Operations Organization as an Aircraft Electrician Level 2 an d Level 3 supporting our Palm d ale site This role is for a han d s-on person with great attention to d etail, top focus on quality an d excellent people skills. Essential Functions:

• Electrical assembly an d wire harness installation

• Checks, tests, an d troubleshoots electrical systems for conformance to specifications an d perform repair, removal, an d reinstallation of wiring as necessary

• Cuts wire to length, strips insulation from wire en d s, an d insulates connections with plastic sleeves

• Attaches wire or complicate d electrical systems to fixtures an d accessories such as transformers, instrument panels, an d switchboar d s with fasteners (bolts, screws, or sol d er)

• May monitor an d verify quality in accor d ance with statistical process or other control proce d ures

• Able to obtain half & full-face respirator certification

• D aily usage of manufacturing shop controls an d systems

• Use of appropriate PPE when working on the shop floor

• Recommen d an d implement continuous improvement activities in pro d uction metho d s, equipment performance an d team effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:

Aircraft Electrician Level 2

• High School d iploma or GE D

• 2 years' electrical experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing an d /or maintenance environment

• This position requires the ability to perform mo d erate strenuous physical an d repetitious work to inclu d e ben d ing, stooping, kneeling, stan d ing, walking, squatting, crawling, twisting, carrying tools, lifting to 35 poun d s an d working with arms overhea d

• Must be able to access small, confine d spaces an d work in an enclose d environment

• Ability to pass me d ical/respiratory evaluation to obtain an d maintain necessary respirator clearance an d compliance with all respirators fitting requirements

• Must be able to pass a New Hire Physical prior to starting

• The ability to work 1st "5 AM - 3:30 PM" or 2n d shift "4:12 PM - 2:42 AM" an d any work sche d ule

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret or Top-Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period , as det ermined by the company to meet its business needs . US citizen ship req uired fo r clearance

• The ability to utilize a computer for basic functions (inclu d ing navigating through win d ows operating system s , getting online, executing online training mo d ules an d ability to be traine d using on the job software )

Aircraft Electrician Level 3

• High School diploma or GED

• 5 years' electrical experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment

• This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, squatting, crawling, twisting, carrying tools, lifting to 35 pounds and working with arms overhead

• Must be able to access small, confined spaces and work in an enclosed environment

• Ability to pass medical/respiratory evaluation to obtain and maintain necessary respirator clearance and compliance with all respirators fitting requirements

• Must be able to pass a New Hire Physical prior to starting

• The ability to work 1st "5 AM - 3:30 PM" or 2nd shift "4:12 PM - 2:42 AM" and any work schedule

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret or Top-Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period , as determined by the company to meet its business needs . US citizen ship required for clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electrical experience in an aerospace environment

• Completion of A&P certificate program

• Active Government secret clearance with an investigation date/periodic review within the last 6 years

Primary Level Salary Range: $51,400.00 - $85,600.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $101,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
