Description:

You will be the Contracts Management Asc for the Contracts Management team. Our team is responsible for supporting munition production programs through end-to-end contracts management, from capture and proposal through award, administration, and closeout.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Contracts Management Asc you will be responsible for overseeing contract actions and ensuring compliance across the full contract lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage contract solicitations, proposals, negotiations, and award documentation.


  • Coordinate with program management, finance, legal, engineering, and other functions to align contract terms with business objectives.


  • Serve as the authorized representative with customers, building effective relationships and addressing contractual issues.


  • Lead and support internal and external audits to verify contract compliance.


  • Prepare contractual data reports and support training on contract best practices.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent years of experience / combined education

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess some business acumen

• Must be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual and non-virtual team environment

Desired Skills:

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Prior experience in the USG contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, administration, and close-out

• Candidate should be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

• Excellent presentation skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
