Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a System Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL!
This System Engineer for the Targets and Countermeasures Production Program will support a cross-functional, multi-site team. This engineer must be comfortable working in a highly dynamic customer environment and be able to support overall objectives of the program. In this role you will be expected to support requirements development and decomposition, integration and testing, provide data and support to the team for Lockheed Martin executive level leadership and customer briefings. This engineer is expected to participate in and support major program reviews and support program execution across a diverse team.
Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and experience with one or more of the below Systems Integration functions:
a) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
c) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
d) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
e) Design reviews
• Bachelors degree or higher in an ABET accredited program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to obtain a Final Secret clearance; US citizenship required
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, RF, Software Engineering, or similar
• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.)
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
• Ability to interact with hardware Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) and designers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
