THE WORK
The selected candidate will be a Manufacturing Associate Manager leading a second shift team. Position responsibilities may include managing the day-to-day operations of the team, managing personnel, staffing, schedule compliance, and continuous improvement activities. The Candidate might lead/facilitate a Performance Management team (PMT).

WHO YOU ARE
You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications:
• 8 or more years of experience as a leader an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Working experience with Circuit Card Assembly Production & Electronics Testing.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and cost reduction strategies.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

• Ability to interface with customers on a professional level.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive team performance.
• Knowledge of business metrics and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
• Green Belt Certification
• IPC/WHMA 610 Certified is a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
