In this role, you will:
- Attend periodic meetings on behalf of NAVSEA HQ for In-Service Engineering Agent Sync-Ups, Fleet Stakeholder Meetings, Fleet Risk Reviews, and other meetings designated by the Submarine Battery Program Manager. Take notes for these meetings and publish them to the attendees for review as necessary.
- Assist with creating, updating, and revising presentations to senior leadership pertaining to the status of the submarine fleet batteries for NAVSEA 05Z34 to brief NAVSEA 08K monthly.
- Create and maintain an action item tracker between ISEA and NAVSEA regarding submarine correspondences including but not limited to, submarine battery recommendations, risk assessments, and battery installs/replacements.
- Attend and host, as needed, Quarterly Program Reviews and Technical Effort Reviews with ISEA, NAVSEA, and respective submarine battery vendors.
- Serve as Serco's Deputy Program Manager for PMS 392 support, acting as the liaison between the government client and contractor team, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of government requirements, contract details, and people management.
- Assist with execution of Human Resource and administrative actions for a team of ~15 personnel, managing the full employee lifecycle including position description development, interviewing, onboarding, counseling/coaching, and off-boarding processes.
- Manage daily program operations and compliance, tracking mandatory training requirements, maintaining strict accountability of government and company assets, and supporting overarching business development efforts.
- Champion formal employee recognition and professional development, consistently identifying top-performing team members.
- Utilize extensive Navy Systems Knowledge to provide targeted support and training to government and contractor personnel regarding submarine operations, risk management, and certifications.
- Build strong working relationships with PMS392, the Serco management team and other submarine stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An Active or Current Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Recent experience directly supporting PMS392P
- Strong customer, interpersonal and organizational level communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
