Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive injury prevention, physical rehabilitation, and/or human performance programs for athletes; providing expert clinical assessments, treating complex musculoskeletal injuries, AND making return-to-activity decisions.

- You will oversee the execution of all aspects of the Sports Medicine and Injury Prevention Program portfolio to include oversight of athletic training spaces, resources and budget.
- You will design and implement athletic training protocols and operating procedures related to athletic training services that align with policy.
- You will provide holistic interventions designed to keep Marines training within their unit or the ability to return to training to achieve operational physical readiness.
- You will manage daily operations of the athletic training and recovery rooms, and maintain accurate clinical records to ensure compliance with program policies.
- You will establish and adjust short-term priorities and prepare team schedules for completion of work, evaluate employee performance, and manage time and attendance.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree: major study in an academic field related to the medical field, health sciences or allied sciences appropriate to the work of the position. This degree must be from an educational program from an accrediting body recognized by the at the time the degree was obtained.
