Job Description
We are seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to support the MAF ATOMS (Mobility Air Forces Airlift/Tanker Open Missions) program— which provides advanced, real-time command, control, and survivability capabilities to military mobility aircraft. This role involves the installation, modification, and troubleshooting of complex avionics systems on wide-body aircraft.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• As an Avionics Technician, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting and repairing avionics components, and maintaining test equipment, tools, and manuals.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Ability to understand and interpret basic applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Ability to route wires per technical drawings
• Advanced skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping techniques
• Preferred: Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROLBasic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope, and/or pitot static equipment Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
