The CMOC Supervisor will report directly to the Site Manager. This position is located at Pituffik Space Base, Greenland.
The Consolidated Maintenance and Operations Center (CMOC) Lead directs the overall activities of the Computer and Radar Maintenance work centers. Objectives of the position are to directly complement the operations, maintenance, engineering/analysis tasks necessary to meet the Site Radar's operational requirements. The major emphasis is to ensure contractor-controlled availability rates meet or exceed Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements, that site reporting is accomplished flawlessly, and critical system failures are rapidly and accurately reported and resolved. Pay Range
Starting from USD $37.00/Hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interfaces with government agencies and other contractors to accomplish mission essential tasks.
- Submits a Monthly Maintenance Schedule (MMS) that minimizes site downtime and maximizes the time and resources of other government agencies and contractors.
- Is responsible to review hardware/software modification proposals and the testing requirements to implement those modifications. Is required to fully test new modifications to ensure that system degradation does not occur. Responsible for the configuration management of system hardware and software.
- Writes, reviews, and provides inputs to change or enhance procedures and Operating Instructions (OIs).
- Assist with the analysis of software and hardware failures and prepares the Standard Change Forms (SCFs) that are required to correct the failures.
- Participates in the review boards that approve the SCFs. Later verifies that the fixes do not cause system degradation.
- Ensures that the Satellite Catalog is accurate and up to date and the site provides accurate Space Surveillance Data to higher echelons.
- Works with the 12 SWS to ensure that their training and operating procedures are accurate and comply with government directives.
- Creates the shift and vacation schedules for the computer maintenance work center and submit for management approval.
- Manages, implements, and conducts the training of subordinates.
- Implements Company and government policies and procedures.
- Directs work center activities in support of operational requirements.
- Act as the Quality Control augmentee in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 for the work center.
- Manages required levels of radar supplies, bench stock, Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO's).
- Directs the daily activities of the Site Analysts/Information System Administrators and the Radar Maintenance Technicians.
- Performs duties as a CMOC/RADAR technician.
Educational/Training Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of civilian or Air Force radar electronics system repair course.
- Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to acquire a Top Secret with Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).
Required Skills/Experience: (List any specific skills required and amount of experience necessary to perform job. i.e. Lead experience, certification/license, driver's license, security clearance)
- Completion of civilian or Air Force radar electronics system repair course.
- Five years of experience with SGI servers and workstations.
- Five years of experience with UNIX, SGI/IRIX or Solaris Operating Systems.
- Two years of Lead or Management experience required.
- Three years of experience with Missile Warning and/or Space tracking. Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
- COMPTIA Security + certification required.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
Supervision:
- The Deputy Site Manager serves as the general supervisor for the CMOC Lead.
Work Environment:
- Expected to be able to lift to 50-pound loads on occasion in a normal working office environment and may work extended hours on weekends and holidays. Travel throughout the Thule Defense area is routinely required. Rotation schedule will be 8 weeks on and 5 weeks off with possibility of adjustment. A 72-hour work week will be the norm.
