Job Description

CyberCore is looking for a Process Engineer 3.

  • Applies process improvement (PI), engineering methodologies, and principles to effectively improve and align Enterprise-level processes.
  • Facilitates project teams in accomplishing project activities and objectives.
  • Coordinates the transfer of new processes and practices to project teams by providing group facilitation, interviewing, training and additional forms of knowledge transfer.
  • Acts as a key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure Enterprise-wide integration of engineering efforts.

  • Assist in defining Process Improvement strategy and lesson learns
  • Develops the plans for process assessments, both informal and formal
  • Work closely with the systems and software engineering process development team members to determine organizational readiness for assessment as well as in conducting assessments
  • Lead assessment teams in conducting both formal and informal assessments
  • Ensure assessment results and recommendations are used as the basis for improvement plans
  • Evaluate Systems Engineering and Software Engineering processes to address problems with process work flows, organizational structure and alignment and planning.
  • Conducts training sessions and workshops for Process Improvement activities
  • Interpret and promote the use of Process Improvement best practices
  • Assist in Enterprise level Systems and Software Engineering Process Improvement initiatives
  • Lead Process Improvement effort utilizing CMM/CMMI or other similar process models
  • Ensure processes are established and documented to support the application and institutionalization of sound systems and software engineering discipline and continuous process improvement
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
  • Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process

  • Produce and enable managed, repeatable, defined processes and eliminate waste, reduce process variation, and optimize process efficiency.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $145,000. This range is a good-faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. This range is not a guarantee of salary, as final compensation may also be influenced by contractual requirements and other considerations.
