Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. (Electronics Fabrication, Level 3) for the Missiles and Fire Control Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for supporting sustainment re-cap, re-certification (MRO), and Customer Field Service (CFS) for missile systems.

As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. you will be responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing processes, work instructions, and risk-mitigation plans while driving cost-reduction initiatives.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and as a group with little guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Ability to interpret drawings, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models, product/performance specifications, and other systems integration technical data
- Ability to liaison between LM Subcontractors, internal disciplines, and LM shop(s) Production Operations
- Bachelor's degree in an any STEM field or associated discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing, and presentations
-Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships
-Experience manufacturing electronic assemblies to IPC and J-STD specifications
Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must be a US citizen and has the ability to acquire secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people
- Current Active Secret Clearance
- Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience in automation, additive manufacturing, machining, CNC programming, CAD, or simulation software.
- Experience with Government customers
- Expert in SAP, Apriso, Windchill PLM.
- Six sigma Greenbelt of Blackbelt certified
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration and needs interim clearance to start.

- Drive cost-reduction projects to closure and support testing, tooling, and hardware issue resolution.
- Lead process-improvement initiatives using lean principles to reduce waste and improve affordability.
- Collaborate with shop-floor personnel, program management, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality, schedule, and safety goals are met.
