Description:

You will be the Systems Integration Test Engineer Sr for the Orlando IRST LSE Depot. Our team keeps the infrared search and track (IRST) line replaceable sub assemblies (WRAs) flying ready by maintaining, repairing, and continually improving depot processes, wiring diagrams, test equipment, and software tools.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Integration Test Engineer Sr you will serve as the technical leader who partners with cross disciplinary engineers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair IRST WRAs. You'll own the end to end test and sustainment effort for hardware returning to the customer, working on the D Shift/weekend 4/10 schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing wiring diagrams, test data, and depot procedures to isolate and resolve hardware faults.

• Operating and calibrating electro optical test equipment for component and sub assembly verification.

• Developing and executing test plans that meet product and customer specifications.

• Collaborating with electrical, mechanical, software, and logistics engineers to implement corrective actions.

• Documenting findings, repair actions, and test results in accordance with configuration management standards.

• Providing sustainment support across the program, including on call troubleshooting during shift hours.

• Advising on supply support and depot repair best practices to improve turnaround time.

• Maintaining up to date technical records in Microsoft Office tools and specialized databases.

• Ensuring all work complies with security requirements; an active clearance is required.

This position is in Orlando, FL.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess a Final Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Technical Degree or combination technical training & equivalent experience

• Electro-Optical Rework, Troubleshooting or Sensor maintenance experience

• Test Equipment Operation experience

• Ability to read & interpret technical drawings, documentation or specifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word)

• Active Secret clearance

• Ability to work and support a 4/10 Weekend D-Shift

Desired Skills:

• 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline

• Electro-Optical Depot or Production experience

• Software Troubleshooting Experience

• Teradyne or LM-STAR Common Core Test Station Experience

• Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment

• Experience using MS Excel and SAP client applications

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, motivated and result oriented

• Experience interacting with management and customers

• A comprehensive understanding of the Asset Management System (AMS) and its various functions

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
