- You will direct, install, operate and maintain cameras, arrange lighting and audio equipment and/or write instructional materials as required. Concerning Distance Learning (DL) classes and Video Teleconferences (VTC).
- You will ensure Distance Learning, Video Teleconference, schedules and ad-hoc NPS events are technically supported.
- You will provide guidance and direction to NPS faculty and outside agencies or organizations who wish to use this technology. This may require traveling to off- campus sites.
- You will guide planning and organization of work and the technical support personnel to produce, select and arrange the sounds and visual effects required for finished production in the production of video programs.
- You will develop and manage customer service performance requirments.
- You will develop customer support policies, procedures and standards. Make readily available via Wiki or other online means to customers.
- You will provide customer training and ensures the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles and practices in the delivery of customer support services.
- You will provide information and guidance to the administration on up- to- date audiovisual technologies and their capabilities to support instruction.
- You will attend training as requested, self trains on current and emerging audiovisual technologies, and shares knowledge with co-workers.
- You will install, configure, troubleshoots and maintain customers hardware and software.
