PRISM Inc. is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL
Contract to Hire / Direct Hire
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Simulation Design & Integration: Assist in the planning, design, development, and integration of hardware and software solutions for training devices, flight/vehicle simulators, and Live-Virtual- Constructive (LVC) environments.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a bridge between mechanical, hardware, and software teams to ensure accurate translation of simulator specifications, and serve as an internal technical point of
contact.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience or certifications for AutoCAD / Solidworks - highly desired
Design / Drafting of Mechanical Systems / Hardware
Interdisciplinary Aptitude: Exposure to translating mechanical or physical system requirements into
actionable software, physics-based models, or electronics tasks.
MS&T Concepts: Basic familiarity with distributed simulation protocols (e.g., HLA, DIS) or exposure to modeling tools/languages (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, SysML, C++, or Python).
Tools: Exposure to MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect) or configuration management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git) is a strong plus.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical content clearly to internal teams and military/DoD stakeholders.
SKILLS/EDUCATION):
Degree: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related hardware/software centric STEM field.

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance (Active Secret clearance
preferred).
