Job Description
The Lethality candidate will provide and support the lethality Planning, Analysis, and Testing in support of the Army Operational Evaluation Command.
Qualifications
Highly Desirable Skills:

- Familiar with GMD, THAAD, Patriot, and AIAMD air and missile defense programs.
- Understanding of LFT&E lethality and survivability requirements, planning, and evaluations.
- Technical ability to run endgame lethality codes, such as PEELS and LEGS, produce output, and generate briefings and reports on findings. General physics understanding of lethality modeling for direct hit and blast/fragmentation warheads in support of effectiveness evaluations with probability of kill determination.
- Familiarity with Army Operational Evaluation plans, test designs, products and inputs.
- Familiarity with sled, light-gas gun, and flight test lethality planning, debris pickup and evaluation, and post-test analysis.
- Technical ability to interpret code output, identify trends, assess code stability, assess output integrity, inform code updates where needed.
- Technical ability to support lethality M&S accreditation efforts and experience with V&V.
- Regular and valuable interaction with the government will include emails, VTC and face-to-face meetings, status updates, TIMs, briefings and other contractual requirements.
- Self-motivated, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and can work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, technically advanced, team environment.
- Skill to track multi-program statuses and adapt to changing/evolving milestones.
- Experience with budget planning and expenditure tracking
- Familiarity with DOE hydrocode and hydrostructural code analysis.
- Interface with program managers and ATEC Campaign Teams to support and promote lethality activities.
- Utilize skills and experience to schedule meetings, provide meeting minutes, service action items and brief leadership.
- Prepare technical and position papers, engineering briefs, and technical materials such as analysis, assessments, and reports.
- Must be self-motivated, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, technically advanced, team environment.
Qualifications
- BS (minimum) MS (desired) degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering, or Physics/Math.
- 10+ years of direct experience in lethality modeling simulation and analysis, including VV&A and test and evaluation.
- Experience must be directly related to running lethality codes and developing pre-and post-processing tools and databases to support file I/O sharing and output assessments.
- Technical background and the ability to understand ballistic missile, aircraft, cruise missile, and hypersonic systems lethality.
- Experience with lethality assessments for direct hit and blast/fragmentation warhead kinetic energy weapons, engaging air and missile defense threats.
- Familiarity with BRLCAD is a plus.
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Skilled in MS Office products. Skilled in computer programming, PYTHON, FORTRAN, DOS macros.
- Proficient in creating engagement scenarios taking system performance definitions and running in fast-running codes, such as PEELS and LEGS.
- Clearance Requirements: Active DoD Secret clearance (Top Secret Clearance Desirable)
