Summary:
• Develop and maintain distributed metrics and monitoring solutions for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
• Utilize technologies such as Splunk, Linux, Perl, Python, Kafka, Ansible, Git, GitLab CI, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 12+ years
• Total Compensation: $301k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive distributed Metrics and Monitoring solutions for HPC systems.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of HPC infrastructure.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Splunk, including SPL, dashboard/report creation, data onboarding, field extractions, data models, performance tuning, alerting, incident management, and event correlation.
• Utilize Linux CLI and associated tools.
• Develop Shell/Perl scripts for process automation.
• Perform recent software development using Python.
• Interface with Log Management tools such as Syslog-ng and rsyslog.
• Work with Message Brokers like Kafka.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools, including Ansible.
• Implement CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI.
• Utilize Git Source Control System.
• (Desired) Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
