ServiceNow Developer (Journeyman)
Position Summary: The ServiceNow Developer (Journeyman) is responsible for the design, development, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities supporting the Department of Defense community. The developer will work within an Agile DevSecOps environment to deliver secure, scalable, and mission-focused ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise modernization, workflow automation, and digital transformation initiatives. The Journeyman Developer serves as a fully functional contributor capable of independently developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions while collaborating with architects, product owners, business analysts, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders. This role supports the continuous delivery of capabilities across multiple ServiceNow modules and enterprise business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
• Develop solutions using App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and Service Catalog
• Support ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, CSM, HAM, SAM, CMDB, and Event Management modules
• Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, and reviews to support delivery
• Develop REST and SOAP integrations using Integration Hub and MID Servers
• Perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Support CI/CD pipelines, release management, and DevSecOps initiatives
• Troubleshoot production issues and support platform sustainment activities
• Develop technical documentation and implementation guides
Required Qualifications:
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• 2 - 3 years of ServiceNow development experience
• Experience supporting Agile software development teams and ServiceNow integrations
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
• SAFe Agile Certification
Security Qualifications:
• U.S. Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance; Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred
