Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following: 1) Planning, preparing, producing and publishing products for distribution in print and electronic formats with assistance; 2) Recommending on writing and editing standards, product design standards and processes, printing and publishing regulations, and industry practices; 3) Utilizing electronic production methods throughout the editorial and review process to ensure that each review and corrections phase is completed efficiently; and 4) Conducting independent research and consulting with specialists to check accuracy of facts and documenting sources.

- You will plan, prepare, produce and publish a broad range of U.S. Navy historical knowledge products for distribution in print and electronic formats.
- You will conduct independent research and consult with specialists to check accuracy of facts and documentation of sources.
- You will work closely with authors or other content providers, discussing recommended changes in subject-matter treatment, obtaining information for revisions, and reconciling differences of opinion.
- You will use electronic production methods throughout the editorial and review process to ensure that each review and corrections phase is completed efficiently.
- You will proofread page and cover proofs and provide final approval for printing to begin, conduct press sheet and binding inspections and inspections of final product.

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
