The GPS IIIF program is seeking a Subsystems-level Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead within the Spacecraft Bus IPT. The role of the Bus Subsystems-level IPT Lead is to direct all phases of program work from inception through completion for a subsystem. This role is responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance within their IPT Control Accounts. Each Subsystem IPT Lead is also responsible for performance and status reporting and communication to the GPS Program Management Office (PMO) and Customer.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Cost/Schedule - proposals, initial baselining, rolling wave, budget change requests, work authorization documents, active LOE management / headcount, supplemental schedule alignment to IMS.
Technical - Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions. Coordinate with engineering to ensure all program/product requirements are met for qualification, functional/physical configuration audits, and hardware acceptance. Manage daily execution of product delivery with Supply Chain and Production/Test to include employee work assignments, skills gaps, critical resource deconflicts, and daily issue resolution.
Currently, the GPS IIIF program is on contract for Space Vehicles (SV) 11 through 24, with the majority of the Bus products having been delivered for SV11-14. The GPS IIIF Bus is an LM2100 platform and consists of the following subsystems: Attitude Control (ACS), Avionics, Battery, Electrical Power (EPS), Harness, Mechanisms, Propulsion, Solar, Structures, and Thermal. In this role, the candidate will be the Control Account Manager (CAM) and oversee multidisciplinary teams to meet the program objectives of the subsystems they lead.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 5+ years experience in an engineering and production setting
- Experience guiding the successful completion of significant projects and/or multi-discipline team efforts
- Experience managing project budgets, analyzing cost variances, and monitoring key performance indicators
- Understanding of program, functional, and process metrics including Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Ability to communicate across organizational levels and functionalities
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Spacecraft Bus Products with expertise with one or more of the subsystems
- Experience with part procurement and understanding of SAP ERP
- Experience working closely with subcontractors and subcontract management
- Project Management Experience
- Control Account Management (CAM) experience within the last 5 years

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
