Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver Clearance Required in Independence, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Our armed patrol officers at this manufacturing and industrial location conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, help monitor assigned areas, and remain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and observe vehicle and foot traffic to help to support authorized access and site rules.
• Prepare clear reports on patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and assist with investigations involving security-related matters, policy violations, and/or property damage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
