Job Description:
Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers. Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements. Works with customers and management to obtain approval. Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules. Leads project execution to complete the work statement. Identifies performance metrics. Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program. Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity. Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned. Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans. Works under minimal direction.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
Experience in a production or systems engineering skill code
4+ years of related work experience
3+ years of experience leading team or managing cross functional projects in a formal and/or informal role
4+ years of experience with project management tools
4+ years of advanced Microsoft suite skills to include macro development, intermediate to advance knowledge of excel formulas, and pivot table manipulation
4+ years developing presentations and reporting to senior or executive leadership
Knowledge and development experience with TABLEAU or PowerBI metrics
Preferred Qualifications:
10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Project Management Certification
Project Management Professional Certificate Lean Six Sigma (green belt or black belt)
Experience in manufacturing engineering role
Experience with DOD Contracts
EVM/CAM related experience
Microsoft Project/Planner Experience
Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
