Silotech Group is seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Advisor to support the Air Force Accessions Center (AFAC) in providing strategic planning, operational analysis, and executive decision support for Air Force accession and recruiting initiatives. The Strategic Planning Advisor serves as the primary planning subject matter expert supporting AFAC leadership across Plans (A5), Programming (A8), and Analysis & Readiness (A9). This position is responsible for facilitating operational planning teams (OPTs), developing Courses of Action (COAs), conducting readiness assessments, integrating planning products across headquarters organizations, and ensuring continuity of strategic planning operations.
This role also serves as the operational liaison between government planners and Silotech's innovative Common Operational Picture (COP) modernization effort, helping translate real-world planning processes into future digital capabilities.

Essential Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic planning support to AFAC leadership.
- Develop and facilitate Courses of Action (COAs) supporting operational and strategic initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate Operational Planning Team (OPT) meetings.
- Support Air Force planning efforts across A5 (Plans), A8 (Programming), and A9 (Analysis & Readiness).
- Conduct strategic assessments, readiness analysis, and forecasting activities.
- Integrate planning products with higher headquarters guidance and Air Force priorities.
- Advise leadership on planning methodologies, operational risks, and decision alternatives.
- Develop executive briefings, planning products, white papers, and strategic documentation.
- Capture institutional knowledge and develop repeatable planning methodologies.
- Mentor government personnel on strategic planning processes and continuity of operations.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure modernization efforts accurately reflect operational planning workflows.
- Support user acceptance activities for planning modernization initiatives.
- Document planning processes, decision logic, and operational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Political Science, Military Science, National Security Studies, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience supporting DoD strategic planning or military headquarters operations.
- 5+ years prior experience supporting the Air Force Accessions Center (AFAC) Staff organizations
- Experience with strategic recruiting, force management, accession planning, or readiness planning.
- Demonstrated experience developing Courses of Action (COAs).
- Experience facilitating Operational Planning Teams (OPTs).
- Experience supporting senior military or government leadership.
- Strong understanding of Air Force planning processes and doctrine.
- Experience conducting operational analysis and readiness assessments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing executive-level briefings and decision papers.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting modernization or innovation efforts within the Department of Defense.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, workflow automation platforms, or Common Operational Picture (COP) solutions.
- Military planning experience or prior service in an Air Force planning career field.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar project management certification.
