Northrop Grumman is seeking a Security Coordinator to: produce employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards. Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control. Collects and submits electronic fingerprints, handprints and optical reading into systems. Maintains parking/vehicle database and daily report (activity reports, visitor logs, etc.) database. Maintains lock and key records. Processes visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access. Verifies accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances. Maintains controlled security documents and information. Physical Security Support: bag inspections, occasionally empty proprietary bins.
Knowledge: Considerable Full knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.
Supervision Given and Received: Direct General supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments.
Typical Duties and Tasks: Duties & tasks are varied but standardized. Performs some more advanced functions. Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex questions to higher levels.
Consequence of Errors: Errors may be detected and corrected but may cause moderate loss of time or customer/user dissatisfaction.
Contacts: Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally with contacts outside own organization. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation.
Basic Qualifications:
Current Active Secret clearance.
US Citizenship.
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years education and/or Security related experience.
Work schedule M-F 8 hours or 9/80.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with LENEL access system.
One Badge system.

Primary Level Salary Range: $51,400.00 - $85,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
