You will be the Technical Publications Writer - Level 4 for the Technical Publications Team which is responsible for authoring maintenance instructions and developing practices to support delivery of complex aircraft configurations.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. A Top Secret clearance needed to perform this position.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must hold a Top Secret clearance prior to start.
• Experience performing technical manuals validations and/or verifications.
• Experience interfacing with operational and maintenance personnel in dynamic operational work environments.
• Experience interpreting complex tech drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, or specifications.
• Experience in new production, development, and/or test aerospace programs.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with S1000D International Specification for Technical Publications and interactive electronic publications)
• Experience evaluating technical order changes
• Understanding of aircraft inspection requirements
• Posses the ability to work as liaison with internal and external customers
• Hands on experience with preforming Maintenance on complex aircraft.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
