Job Description

USGI is seeking a Personnel Security Analystto support personnel vetting (PV) and adjudication processes for background investigations, ensuring compliance with federal security standards.

Responsibilities
  • Process PV documents for investigations, adjudications, and continuous vetting alerts.
  • Analyze applicant files and prepare comprehensive written recommendations.
  • Use e-QIP, NBIS, DCSA CVS/PIPS, DISS, DHS ISMS, or similar systems.
  • Develop reports, briefing slides, and process guides.

Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in personnel vetting for a federal agency
  • Adjudication training certificate from a recognized government agency (e.g., OPM, DoD, USCG)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DOD365)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate sensitive issues effectively
  • Possess a DoD Secret clearance
