An ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starting leader holding a highly desired master's degree in space discipline and recent, proven experience within the Electromagnetic Warfare mission area over the last three years. This expert will possess a comprehensive understanding of the policies, methodologies, and integration points governing Space Control, Electronic, and Orbital Warfare across the USSF, Department of the Air Force, and Combatant Commands. At the command headquarters level, they will serve as a senior program analyst responsible for shaping FIELDCOM program doctrines, managing Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, resolving fiscal year funding issues, and programming the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP). Highly skilled in operational readiness, they will oversee training policies, manage safe weapon systems standards, establish operational test designs, and advise senior leadership during global, time-sensitive crises. As a primary advisor and key liaison, the selected candidate must have the exceptional communication skills required to represent the command at national conferences, integrate sensitive intelligence, and build strategic partnerships across the joint force to keep the nation ahead of emerging orbital threats.
Key Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of the policies, principles, concepts, guidance, procedures, techniques, and methodologies pertaining to EW operations, integration points, security strategies and capabilities of interest to HQ CFC, USSF, and CCMDs. Knowledge of USSF, CCMDs, DoW, JCS, and the Services EW policies and staff processes. Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of DoW and USSF organizations to provide command level staff guidance. Knowledge of planning, requirements, communication, logistics, intelligence, and security elements and functions and how they integrate with the EW mission. Skill in analyzing EW mission integration proposals on complex operational issues. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of subordinate organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources to develop EW positions.

- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI access.
- Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
- This position is designated for drug testing. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing as a condition of employment.
- Employee is in a designated position that requires consent and thereafter be subject to and successfully complete, an initial, periodic and random counterintelligence (CI)-scope polygraph examination as a condition of employment.
- May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
- May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
- Highly desired to have recent experience in the Electromagnetic Warfare mission area within the last 3 years. A master's degree in a space discipline is also desired.
- PCS is not authorized. Incentive is not authorized.
- Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 45 days a year.
- Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
- Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
- Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "Unscheduled Telework".
