Job Description

General Atomics Integrated Intelligence Inc. (GA-Intelligence) develops cutting-edge software solutions that transform raw data into actionable intelligence. We specialize in real-time global situational awareness and battle management, processing petabytes of data from hundreds of sources across air, land, and sea. Our systems-including the widely used THRESHER and DRAGONSPELL platforms-support tens of thousands of users across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community and enable mission-critical national security operations.
We operate at the scale of global sensor networks-processing hundreds of thousands of observations per minute. Our architecture leverages technologies such as Kafka, AWS, NiFi, and GeoMesa (which we designed and open-sourced) to deliver resilient, high-throughput systems that convert streaming data into operational advantage.

Why GA-Intelligence?
At GA-Intelligence, we build real systems that operators rely on every day. We combine the credibility of a seasoned defense contractor with the agility and technical depth of a mission-driven software company. As a privately held organization, we make long-term decisions grounded in mission impact-not quarterly earnings cycles.
If you are motivated by complex systems, national security missions, and leading high-performing teams to deliver enduring capability, GA-Intelligence is where you belong.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Manager (70%)
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously refine the THRESHER product roadmap to align with program objectives and customer needs
  • Establish and mature scalable processes for roadmap development, product management, and prioritization
  • Drive roadmap execution across the broader program, ensuring alignment between engineering, leadership, and stakeholders
  • Serve as the central point of communication for product direction, priorities, and updates across all levels of the organization
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and integration of product initiatives
  • Partner with the Chief Engineer, technical leadership, and team leads to define and clearly articulate long-term product vision and strategy
  • Design and implement mechanisms to gather, assess, and incorporate user feedback, operational needs, and emerging issues into the product roadmap
  • Identify gaps in current processes and proactively implement improvements to strengthen product planning and execution
Subcontract Program Manager (30%)
  • Lead program management activities for a small but critical subcontract, ensuring stability and consistent execution
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations, including schedule, scope, and stakeholder coordination
  • Provide "block and tackling" program management support to maintain contract performance and delivery expectations
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive continued program improvement
  • Support efforts to stabilize and grow the subcontract team, with a goal of scaling back to prior staffing levels
  • Build on recent program momentum to improve performance, communication, and overall program health
We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.

Job Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in engineering, science or a related technical field as well as thirteen or more years of progressively complex program administration experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Proven experience in product management, program management, or a hybrid role in a technical environment
  • Strong ability to develop and manage product roadmaps and translate strategy into execution
  • Experience establishing processes and driving cross-functional coordination in complex programs
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey plans, priorities, and updates to diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and incorporate user feedback into product or program planning
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Experience working with technical teams, including engineers and program leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a government contracting or subcontracting environment
  • Familiarity with managing smaller programs or subcontracts and scaling teams
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and help define structure and direction
