Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower Pay Band (DA-02) or equivalent grade level (GS-5-8) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Applying Human Resources (HR) principles, concepts, and practices to provide guidance and advice to management on classification, staffing, recruitment, benefits, workforce shaping, employee and labor relations, compensation, performance management and other related HR functional areas; 2) Utilizing HR management laws and policies to troubleshoot HR challenges and deliver sound recommendations to peers, leadership, and customers; 3) Performing technical work in various functional areas of HR such as staffing, classification, recruitment, human resources processing and employee relations and development, benefits, compensation, workforce shaping, and performance management; 4) Conducting qualification reviews to assist hiring managers with the demand to fill open positions; and 5) Functioning as a human resources liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure that program needs are achieved.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
You have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
You have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree.
OR
You have a combination of experience (as described under Qualifications section of this announcement) and graduate education that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.

- You will conduct job and data analysis to advise management in determining best strategies for recruiting to achieve qualified, highly skilled workforce.
- You will assist in evaluating and recommending the placement of highly qualified candidates for a wide range of administrative and technical position, including those requiring critical high-demand skill.
- You will utilize strategic and technical recruitment methods and automated tools such as the Talent Acquisition Portal (TAP), along with posting job announcements across social media platforms.
- You will process recruitment and placement actions for intern and career development programs.
- You will solve human resources problems that cross multiple program lines (e.g., recruitment, staffing, classification, compensation, workforce shaping, etc.).
- You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
