Job Description

Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):
The Apple/macOS Subject Matter Expert (SME) supports the endpoint engineering team with specialized expertise in macOS workstation imaging, secure baseline configuration, device enrollment, patching, logging, and lifecycle management.

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):



  • Build and maintain secure macOS workstation images for both on-site and remote/virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) access.





  • Support automated provisioning and lifecycle management for Apple devices.





  • Use JAMF Pro and related tooling to support endpoint management for macOS devices.





  • Implement baseline enforcement, logging, telemetry, and operational monitoring for macOS endpoints.





  • Support passwordless or hardware-backed credential approaches where approved.





  • Document build standards, workflows, remediation steps, and knowledge transfer materials.



What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):



  • Eight years of experience in information technology (IT), endpoint engineering, or cybersecurity.





  • Six years of engineering experience in enterprise environments.





  • Experience building and maintaining Windows and macOS workstation images and integrating them with VDI, authentication, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and logging agents.





  • Experience using JAMF Pro for macOS endpoint management.





  • Experience with logging, audit readiness, and formal change control.





  • Top Secret (TS) security clearance.



Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
