Duties

As an Ordnance Equipment Mechanic, WG-6641-10, you will:

This position is located in an Air National Guard, Combat Air Force (CAF) Wing, Maintenance Group, Maintenance Squadron, Munitions Flight. The purpose of this position is to provide munitions support to the state and designated agencies in support of their taskings. This dual status technician position requires military membership.

Qualifications

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Individuals up to the grade of MSgt may apply. Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following AFSC upon date of hire: AFSC 2WXXX. Aptitude scores can be checked on the vMPF or at the Customer Service in the Force Support Squadron and physical profile in the medical squadron. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Experience or training which has provided the candidate with the knowledge and application of mechanical and electrical principles and the skill to perform intricate repair and adjustment of hydraulic and pneumatic components and devices.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE :
For WG-10, 18 months experience in the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) listed below. Experience or training in repairing, rebuilding, modifying and testing a variety of major subassemblies. Experience in diagnosing malfunctions and determining repair in major components consisting of numerous assemblies, interrelated electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assemblies, and components. Experience in the use of precision measurement equipment. Experience interpreting and applying a variety of technical manuals and similar published materials.
