TITLE: Software Engineer with ACTIVE Secret security clearance (US Citizenship REQUIRED)
RATE RANGE: $65.00 - $70.00 Hourly OT40
DURATION:12+ months, opportunity for FTE Hire
LOCATION: Onsite in Fort Worth, TX (no relocation package)
SCHEDULE: 4/10-A

DESCRIPTION:
This role is for a Software Engineer Senior on the Skunk Works Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Warfare team. You will support the integration of open architecture services into tactically representative hardware and verify the functional behavior of the end-to-end capability as deployed on the hardware.
We will help identify and leverage your strengths and guide you to develop and accelerate your skills on important projects that provide immediate value to our customers.
The day-to-day expectations of the person in this role are that s/he will face complex and challenging assignments that may require investigation and critical problem solving.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Software development experience in C++ and Python
Bachelors in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or STEM degree.
4+ years of Experience with Linux (Red Hat Linux Preferred)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Understands Open System Architectures like Big Iron and AMS GRA
Experience with containerization technology like Docker and Podman
Experience with Vagrant and/or Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Gitlab CI/CD
Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or STEM degree.
BS+4-8 YRS or MS+2-6 YRS
