Senior Power Platform & Collaboration Platform Engineer
Clearance / Background
• Must be eligible to obtain a moderate-level federal background investigation (typical processing time several weeks)
Work Arrangement
• Primarily onsite (4–5 days per week) in the greater Washington, DC / Maryland region

Position Overview
Seeking a senior-level engineer with strong experience across Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies to support development, administration, and modernization of enterprise collaboration and workflow solutions.
This individual will operate with a high level of autonomy, leading development efforts, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering scalable business applications in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Core Requirements
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Power Platform (administration, development, and support)
• 5+ years of experience in general applications development or systems administration
• Strong experience building and supporting SharePoint Online solutions
• Hands-on development experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Dataverse
• Experience with data modeling, database design, and user interface design
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical teams and stakeholder groups
• Experience leading or supporting enterprise platform migrations (e.g., tenant-level transitions)
• Strong problem-solving capability with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience

Key Responsibilities
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex platform and application issues
• Analyze and remediate legacy code, custom applications, workflows, and integrations with minimal disruption
• Design, build, and maintain applications using low-code platforms (both canvas and model-driven approaches)
• Administer enterprise collaboration tools and ensure platform stability and performance
• Modernize legacy solutions to align with current platform capabilities and architecture standards
• Gather requirements and produce detailed technical documentation
• Diagnose and resolve defects in existing systems and applications
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across multiple channels (virtual and in-person)
• Produce clear, structured, and maintainable technical documentation

Additional Skills & Tools
• Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum), including experience with tracking tools such as JIRA
• Exposure to IT service management platforms for issue tracking and workflow (e.g., ticketing systems)
• Experience supporting deployment/migration utilities
• Ability to lead or coordinate development activities across project teams
• Working knowledge of SQL and database objects (e.g., stored procedures)
• Familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell or equivalent)
