Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Staff Systems Integration and Test Engineer (Level 4) to join our team in Huntsville, AL! This position will provide technical oversight and execute system functional testing within the Targets and Countermeasures Program (TCP) in a production environment.

This position will support our first shift on a 9x80 schedule, with every other Friday off. However, the position may require periodic or unscheduled overtime and/or nonstandard workweek depending on program schedule requirements and equipment availability.

Summary of key duties for this position:

• Coordinate and conduct normal business rhythm or ad hoc programmatic and customer meetings, as well as maintaining meeting minutes

• Execute assembly, integration, and test activities to ensure systems operate as designed

• Develops, prepares, and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules supporting production and development programs

• Plan and coordinate daily test readiness and execution across multiple internal and external teams

• Support and perform system and subsystem testing, including regression testing after fixes

• Analyze test results and document findings through reports and discrepancy documentation

• Translate customer and contractual requirements into effective test solutions that balance technical, schedule, and cost considerations

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in hardware assembly, integration, and test operations

• Willingness and ability to present technical information to senior leaders, customers, and executives

• Familiarity with analog and digital measurement techniques and instrumentation (e.g. RF Test Equipment, DMM, Power Supplies, etc.)

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications

• Willingness and ability to travel to Huntsville, AL and Courtland, AL sites as required

• Must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education

• Experience working in and/or leading an HWIL environment

• Active Secret Clearance

• Certified Test Conductor or industry equivalent

• Work experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industry

• Experience with detailed hardware test development

• Experience working with SAP, EPDM, DOORs, CREO, CAMEO, Automation Framework, or industry equivalent(s)

• Ability to maintain process discipline in a dynamic and fast paced environment

• Experience in an assembly/integration and test environment

• Experience leading small teams

• Demonstrated ability to grow and seek new challenges

• Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
