Description:You will be a Systems Engineer (level 2) for the AMMM (Air Mobility and Maritime Missions) Communications/Navigation and Surveillance team which is responsible for delivering avionics solutions for C-130 aircraft.
As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, integration, and fielding of avionics on the C-130 platform.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, procure, install, test, and transition avionics hardware and software into production.
- Conduct technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and risk analysis across the system lifecycle.
- Perform functional, timeline, and trade-study analyses to translate customer requirements into detailed specifications.
- Develop cost, schedule, and supportability assessments to ensure viable, maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interfaces, allocate requirements, and support system sustainment.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
Experience with Systems Engineering
Experienced in Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:
Experience with avionics
MATLAB, Python, and HFSS experience
Project management experience
Supplier management experience
Familiarity with defense industry
Familiarity with Lockheed Martin processes
Familiarity with the C-130 platform
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
