Description:You will be the Staff Quality Assurance Engineer for the Quality Assurance team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured and procured products, developing and reviewing quality standards, and supporting internal and external manufacturing processes.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Staff Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes, analyzing quality data, and resolving process issues. You will play a key role in ensuring that quality products are delivered to customers and that processes are compliant with specifications and industry standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Reviewing documentation related to manufacturing processes
-Analyzing and resolving process issues
-Supporting Integrated Product Teams and production sites
-Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards
-Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures
-Evaluating design assurance activities and production -process methodology
-Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above, or equivalent experience/combined education.
-Must have a final Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
-Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques.
-A strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
-Must have knowledge and understanding of critical design attributes.
-Strong understanding of engineering requirements and mechanical and electrical inspection methods - ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes, and related Performance Metrics.
-Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements.
-Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material (Material Review Board).
-Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems utilizing causal analysis tools.
-Must be able to identify and document supplier's quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective actions are identified and implemented.
-An understanding and knowledge of special processes and an overall understanding of how to manage and interface with suppliers daily to support the Program.
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
-Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
-Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Suppliers, Quality Management, Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, and other stakeholders.
-Ability to travel 25% - 50%
Desired Skills:
-STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above.
-A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and P2P business systems.
-ASQ Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
-Experience with source inspection, surveillance activities, and special processes at suppliers.
-Advanced AS9100, AS9102, and TS 16949 Interpretation and application experience.
-Experience as a team lead and facilitator.
-Experience with J-STD-001, IPC-610 inspections.
