Job Description

Duties

  • You will serve as the Action Officer responsible for documenting, analyzing, and providing recommendations to enhance personnel administration management.
  • You will provide recommendations to enhance Financial Management processes effecting the Marine Corps Total Force System (MCTFS) and the United States Marine Corps (USMC) accounting system, and generalized risk management principles.
  • You will participate in and lead enterprise/local audit analyses, Business Process Improvement (BPI) projects, training, or initiatives.
  • You will provide Full Financial Statement Audit (FFSA) support.
  • You will develop and maintain the Risk Management and Internal Control Program (RMICP) framework and maintain visibility of external audits of operations, functions, programs, and processes.
  • You will develop and maintain End-to-End (E2E) Business Process Narratives (BPNs) for Hire-to-Retire (H2R)/ MILPERS / MILPAY business processes.
  • You will support the development, integration, and assessment of strategic objectives by applying structured analytical approaches and ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities, risk management, and internal control frameworks.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Executing total force planning, coupled with enterprise risk management principles, to drive complex, enterprise-wide continuous process improvement; and 2) Resolving mission-critical business problems for senior military and civilian stakeholders through extensive experience in strategic leadership, cross-functional team collaboration, and executive-level communication.
