Solidus is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join a highly skilled team focused on enhancing and modernizing existing software systems. Full benefits: $184,000 to $230,000 annually

This position requires onsite work in Aurora, CO and an active TS/SCI CI Poly security Clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire.
Solidus is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join a highly skilled team focused on enhancing and modernizing existing software systems. In this role, the engineer will maintain complex systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver secure, high-quality solutions in a mission-critical environment.
Day in the Life:
- Troubleshoot system anomalies related to software, system configuration, network interfaces and operating system issues
- Coordinate software installs/upgrades with adherence to Configuration Management (CM) procedures and policies
- Software architecture design, development and testing
- Develop/maintain system tools and documentation as required
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance is required
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with Bachelor's Degree, 8 years of relevant experience with Master's
- Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment
- Must have a current DODI 8570.1 M IAT Level II (Security+) (minimum) certification
- Experience and knowledge with software engineering object oriented technologies
- Experience with Jenkins Java experience within a Linux environment Java Messaging Service (JMS) experience
- Experience with software deployments within Docker containers
- Experience with Netbeans
- Experience with JavaScript
- Ability to perform all aspects of the software development lifecycle to include requirements definition
- Ability to provide a variety of technical solutions for a wide range of difficult problems
