Senior Acquisition Specialist

Location: Chantilly, VA

REDLattice is seeking a highly skilled Senior Acquisition Specialist to support a Federal Law Enforcement customer in the planning, execution, and management of acquisition, procurement, and resource management activities supporting mission-critical programs. This position will play a key role in ensuring the effective use of government funding, compliance with acquisition regulations, and successful execution of procurement strategies that directly support operational mission requirements.

You will work closely with government leadership, program managers, finance personnel, contracting offices, and mission stakeholders to develop acquisition strategies, manage procurement actions, monitor funding execution, and ensure accountability of government resources and property.

Responsibilities
  • Provide acquisition and procurement support services to a Federal Law Enforcement customer.
  • Develop and execute acquisition strategies to maximize the effective use of annual funding and available resources.
  • Coordinate procurement actions and purchasing activities while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Track funding, obligations, expenditures, and payments to ensure timely execution and fiscal accountability.
  • Support budget planning, resource allocation, and spend plan development.
  • Prepare acquisition documentation, procurement packages, and supporting reports.
  • Monitor procurement and acquisition milestones and provide status updates to government leadership.
  • Serve as Unit Property Custodian and maintain accountability of government property and equipment.
  • Conduct recurring inventories and maintain accurate asset records.
  • Coordinate with contracting, finance, logistics, and program management personnel to support mission requirements.
  • Identify process improvements that increase acquisition efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Acquisition Management, Finance, Logistics, or a related field with five (5) years of relevant experience; or
  • Master's Degree in a related field with three (3) years of relevant experience; or
  • PhD in a related field with one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience supporting acquisition, procurement, logistics, resource management, or related government programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing acquisition activities, procurement actions, budgets, and resource planning.
  • Experience preparing acquisition documentation and coordinating with contracting organizations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting a Federal Law Enforcement customer.
  • Experience supporting government acquisition programs involving technology, cybersecurity, intelligence, or mission support systems.
  • Familiarity with FAR, procurement processes, and government budgeting practices.
  • Experience serving as a Property Custodian or managing accountable government property.
  • Experience working in classified or mission-focused environments.
