POSITION OVERVIEW
STi is seeking a Junior Analytics Specialist to support the DLA Weapons Logistics Support Services contract mission efforts. This role will provide data extraction, processing, preparation, reporting, dashboard support, and analytical assistance for DLA Weapons Support supply chain, planning, procurement, business process, and mission support initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a cleared analytics professional with experience supporting supply chain or operations analytics, data reporting, dashboard development, statistical analysis, and business intelligence products. This role is especially suited for a candidate who can work with senior analysts, functional SMEs, Agile teams, and Government stakeholders to organize data, identify trends, support key performance indicators, and communicate analytical findings in a clear and useful way.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
• Support data extraction, processing, preparation, validation, and organization in support of DLA Weapons Support analytical objectives.
• Assist with analysis of supply chain, planning, acquisition, procurement, operational, and performance data to identify trends, patterns, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
• Apply quantitative methods, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to examine data sets and support analytical conclusions.
• Build and maintain models, reports, dashboards, and data products that support key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and mission performance tracking.
• Develop descriptive and diagnostic analytics products that provide business intelligence and help identify patterns or deviations from expected performance.
• Support senior analytics personnel in developing predictive analytics, statistical analyses, supply chain reporting, and decision-support products.
• Assist with DLA Class IX supply chain analytics, planning support, demand and materiel planning analysis, backorder workflow support, and process improvement initiatives.
• Support data mining, dashboard development, report automation, data quality checks, and recurring analytical product updates.
• Work with DLA data sources, DLA Enterprise Business Systems (EBS), reporting environments, and other Government-designated data or workload tracking tools as required.
• Support development of charts, graphs, briefings, spreadsheets, reports, executive summaries, and other customer-facing analytical materials.
• Communicate analytical methods, data assumptions, processes, findings, and outcomes to senior analysts, functional SMEs, project managers, and Government stakeholders.
• Track assigned tasks, data requests, reporting deadlines, deliverables, and stakeholder inputs using the Daily workload Utility (DRU) or other Government-designated tracking systems.
• Collaborate with senior analysts, functional leads, Agile project managers, planners, buyers, acquisition stakeholders, and Government personnel to ensure analytics support mission needs.
• Ensure work products are accurate, timely, clearly documented, and aligned with DLA Weapons Support requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
U.S. Citizenship required. Active Secret required.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Business, Applied Mathematics, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Data Analytics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience with supply chain and/or operations analytics
• Experience delivering analytics solutions, reports, dashboards, data products, or recurring performance reporting
• Experience programming, querying, or developing statistical analyses using SAS, R, SPSS, SQL, or similar analytical tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience supporting data extraction, preparation, validation, reporting, and visualization activities
• Ability to apply quantitative methods and critical problem-solving skills to examine data sets and support analytical conclusions
• Ability to communicate analytic methods, processes, findings, and outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, analytical writing ability, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with senior analysts, functional SMEs, project managers, Agile teams, and Government stakeholders
• Ability to work on-site at a Government/client location and meet all access, CAC, and background screening requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Prior DLA experience preferred
• Experience supporting DLA Weapons Support, DLA Aviation, DLA Troop Support, DLA Land and Maritime, or comparable DLA supply chain/logistics organizations
• Experience delivering projects at DLA Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) in supply chain, analytics, or process transformation areas
• Experience with DLA Enterprise Business Systems (EBS), DLA data sources, DLA reporting tools, or DLA supply chain data environments
• Experience supporting DLA Class IX strategic initiatives, planning analytics, procurement analytics, demand planning, materiel planning, backorder reduction, or readiness reporting
• 2+ years of experience in data mining from DLA data sources, analytics modeling, or predictive analytics supporting DLA strategic objectives
• Agile Certification preferred
• SAS Programmer Certification preferred
• Experience with SQL, SAS, R, SPSS, Excel advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools preferred
• Experience developing dashboards, recurring reports, KPI trackers, performance metrics, data visualizations, and customer-facing analytical products
• Knowledge of DoD logistics, supply chain operations, Warfighter support, procurement support, business process improvement, or Federal analytics environments
