<br><br>> Instructor/Controller III<br><br><a><br>CSA Global LLC<br></a><br><br>Instructor/Controller III<br><br><a>Hohenfels, Germany, DEU</a><br><br>Job Type<br><br>Full-time<br><br>Description<br><br>Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a Instructor Controller III to support a program onsite at Hohenfel, Germany.<br><br>The Instructor Controller provides technical expertise for the set-up, configuration, operation, training and troubleshooting of U.S. military command and control-related clients and software tools. Individual shall be the technical expert on the simulationstimulation of the systems to include the employment of command and control (formerly mission command) information systems (C2IS) and the employment of simulations and/or gaming systems that stimulate C2IS. Supports the design, planning, preparation, execution, and recovery of systems to support exercise control. Provides instruction to personnel as designated by the exercise/event lead to meet individual and unit training objectives. Supports IT system configuration, troubleshoots issues, and provides IT quality assurance.<br><br>For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions.<br><br>*Onsite/Hybrid/Remote work schedules subject to change based on contract requirements.<br><br><strong>How Role will make an impact:</strong><br><ul><li>Utilize experience and skills from the extensive use of mission command information systems and of live, virtual, constructive and gaming simulations per U.S. Army doctrine for training from assignments in U.S. Army branches such as but not limited to Armor, Infantry, Logistics, Artillery, Military Police, Air Defense, Engineer, Aviation, Signal, Transportation and other organizations and branches. This routine use of simulations and/or command and control information systems includes the following specific duties and responsibilities</li><li>Operate simulation and mission command information system clients and provide functional support and feedback during events.</li><li>Support the technical system used to include writing exercise support plans and identifying personnel requirements. o Recover and reconsolidate all systems after the exercise to ensure 100% functionality.</li><li>Test and provide operator level maintenance and storage of command and control, simulation, and gaming systems.</li><li>Provide over the shoulder support to the military and civilian personnel on the operation of command and control and supporting simulation systems.</li><li>Support the After Action Review collection and presentation process.</li><li>Provide input to exercise design and technical planning products.</li><li>Develop, refine, execute and manage programs of instruction for simulation systems and mission command information systems as determined by the customer.</li><li>Prepare and provide professional instruction on simulation systems and mission command information systems in a classroom and/or lab environment to U.S. and / or multinational audiences up to approximately 50 personnel.Provide technical expertise in the set-up, configuration, testing, training, operating and troubleshooting of simulation, gaming and missi</li><li>on command information systems to support individual, collective, and unit training.</li><li>Support system database development and advise on use of command and control, simulation, and gaming systems to support individual, collective, and unit training objectives.</li><li>Provide IT configuration of stations and related systems.</li><li>Perform IT quality assurance of systems and provide feedback to system network administrators.</li><li>Document and update processes including internal training and certification programs.</li><li>Perform tasks under deadlines.</li><li>Prepared to work at a computer terminal for extended periods.</li><li>Prepared to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, for consecutive days up to 3 weeks.</li><li>Support the preparation, execution, pre-exercise setup and post-exercise recovery and reset of all facilities, workstations, work areas, TOC Pads, and training areas back to their original configurations.</li><li>Participate in individual training, seminars, conferences, exercise/experiment planning events, site surveys, and exercise and training events and supports the planning and preparation processes and product development as needed.</li><li>As required, be prepared to develop assessments input for exercise design, planning, preparation, execution, and after action review of company through COCOM-level exercises. </li></ul><br><br>Requirements<br><br><strong>What you’ll need to have to join our award-winning team:</strong><br><ul><li><strong>Clearance:</strong> Must posses and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret w/SCI</li><li>Education A bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of related experience, OR; An associate’s degree plus 7 years of related experience, OR; A major IT certification (per DOD 8140 and recognized by DOCPER) plus 7 years of recent related experience, OR; 11 years of related experience. </li><li>Outstanding work ethic and personal integrity.</li><li>Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to document and update processes.</li><li>Ability to perform tasks under deadlines.</li><li>Ability to work with senior Government and Industry leaders.</li><li>Possess a very high degree of attention to detail.</li><li>Capable of working at a computer terminal for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day or night, for consecutive days up to 4 weeks.</li><li>Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.</li><li>Must be able to travel to various locations throughout the USAREUR-AF Theater in Europe and Africa.</li></ul><br><strong>Desired Skills and Qualifications:</strong><br><ul><li>Knowledge of and experience with Army constructive and virtual models and simulations typical of 3 or more years of assignments in the U.S. Army branches of infantry, armor, logistics, artillery, military police, air defense, engineers, aviation, and signal/communications.</li><li>Knowledge of and experience with Army Mission Command Information Systems typical of 3 or more years of assignments in the U.S. Army branches.</li><li>Experience creating gaming simulation databases in support of an exercise, event or testing.</li><li>Experience with US DoD modeling and simulation defense programs.Experience using Microsoft Office products required.</li><li>IT systems and network experience desired. </li></ul><br><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong><br><br>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:<br><ul><li>Sit for extended periods of time and work at a computer workstation</li><li>Use hands and fingers to operate keyboards, mice, and other input devices</li><li>Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing</li><li>Specific vision abilities required may include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust</li><li>Stand, walk, bend, or reach;
