Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) is currently accepting applications for the position of Senior Technical Advisor assigned to Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). DARPA identifies and pursues high-risk, high-payoff research initiatives across a broad spectrum of science and engineering disciplines and transforms them into important, new game-changing technologies for U.S. national security. DARPA is helping the Department of War expand technology-driven capabilities to detect novel threats and protect U.S. force readiness, deploy physiological interventions to maintain operational advantage, support warfighter readiness, and focus on operational biotechnology for mission success.
As a Senior Technical Advisor, you will:
Provide senior-level systems analysis and systems engineering support with a broad understanding of national
security issues. Systems engineering support includes Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition,
Development of Systems Specifications, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test &
Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of DoW program requirements.
Experience:
The individual is recognized as an expert in their field of study or technology.
At least twelve years of experience.
Demonstrated experience must include: (1) the analysis of
system benefits derived from advanced technologies such as those listed in the Performance Work Statement; (2) skill and
efficiency in developing and executing analysis methodologies appropriate for unique situations with
minimal reliance on complicated war games; and (3) the ability to work effectively with technology developers and
technology users to facilitate technology transfer.
Highly Desirable:
Recognized standing as an expert in the relevant field of study or technology.
At least 7 years of experience, background, and knowledge of one or more DARPA programs.
At least five (5) years of experience working with DARPA Program Managers.
Education
Master's degree required.
