DESCRIPTION OF POSITION / DUTIES:
All Points is seeking a Systems Engineer to support IT infrastructure and systems engineering efforts at NASA's Glenn Research Center (GRC) in Cleveland, Ohio. This role supports mission systems and enterprise environments and requires strong hands-on experience across system administration, engineering, and operational support.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and integrating IT systems across Linux and Windows environments while ensuring performance, reliability, and security compliance in a mission-driven NASA environment.
This is a Federal Contract. U.S. Citizenship is required.

All Points is seeking a Systems Engineer to support IT infrastructure and systems engineering efforts at NASA's Glenn Research Center (GRC) in Cleveland, Ohio. This role supports mission systems and enterprise environments and requires strong hands-on experience across system administration, engineering, and operational support.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and integrating IT systems across Linux and Windows environments while ensuring performance, reliability, and security compliance in a mission-driven NASA environment.
This is a Federal Contract. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across systems and appliances. - Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and provide guidance to team members.
- Manage system backups and support disaster recovery planning and testing.
Implement and maintain security policies, system patches, and OS configurations.
Identify and remediate system vulnerabilities and support periodic security assessments. - Ensure systems meet compliance requirements and organizational security standards.
- Maintain system documentation, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Generate reports on system health, performance, and security posture. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.
- Support mentoring and knowledge sharing across team members.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant systems engineering, system administration, or IT infrastructure experience in enterprise or mission environments.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience administering Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking environments. - Experience with system backups and disaster recovery processes.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation. - Experience working with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, or similar).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. - Strong communication and documentation skills.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NASA Public Trust / badging clearance.
SALARY RANGE:
- $90-105K annually, and we offer a full benefits package.
